Shrew Tea party
Shrews love a picnic and a tea party! Two beautiful little shrews sitting on a handmade needle punched wool and silk rug with a hand thrown and raku fired miniature tea set. The shrews have a wired armature so they can be moved and posed as you wish. The tea set comprises of a tea pot, two mugs, a sugar bowl, 2 strawberry leaf plates, a tiny whittled spoon and Kathy has stitched a tiny tiny tea bag complete with string and tag! The tea pot is functioning!. Shrews are approx 10cm high. Cotton reel to give an idea of scale.
