Circus Mouse with yellow ruff and daisy basket
If you have read Bert's Garden you will know that in the summer the circus mice pass through and gather strawberries. This one is approx 9cm tall needle felted with a plant dyed cotton lace ruff and a beautiful basket hand-stiched in plant dyed cottons and embroidered all around with a daisy chain design. Basket dyed with hawthorn and elderberries, ruff with buddleia, all gathered in the local woods here in Wales
